I am far from unique in my treatment of Twilight. Here are some other very enjoyable readings of the franchise. In particular, Big Joel and Dominic's readings are interesting to juxtapose, since they (seemingly) independently highlight the same insight: that love and, by extension, happiness, in the Twilight universe is often involuntary and inescapable. They both agree that this "pleasure without agency" approach is existentially horrifying, though subjectively their reactions differ.

- The Morbid Zoo An Ardent, Unironic Defense of Edward Cullen
- Dominic Noble Twilight: Breaking Dom
- Sarah Z Everyone Is Into Twilight Again
